FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) hereby confirms that a primary and blanket nuclear property insurance policy are provided by Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited for the amounts listed below.

By letter dated July 21,1999, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved an exemption from the amount of insurance coverage stated in 10CFR50.54(w).
There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
