License Renewal Application for the Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS). A schedule for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review of the BVPS License Renewal Application is provided on the NRC website. The NRC schedule lists December 2008 for the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) License Renewal Subcommittee review of the BVPS License Renewal Safety Evaluation Report (SER).
This letter respectfully requests a schedule change for the ACRS License Renewal Subcommittee review of the BVPS License Renewal SER due to a scheduling conflict.
FENOC requests that the Subcommittee review of the BVPS License Renewal SER be moved to February 2009. With this schedule change, FENOC understands that completion of the NRC review of the BVPS License Renewal Application may be extended up to two months.
