Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 Withdrawal of Proposed Alternatives to ASME Pump Test Requirements (Request Nos. PRR-11 and PRR-12)
FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) hereby withdraws the request for NRC approval of proposed alternatives to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code testing requirements for Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS) Unit No. 1 recirculation spray and quench spray pumps, as forwarded by letters dated June 14, 2006 (L-06-89) and July 26, 2006 (L-06-90).
Alternative recirculation spray and quench spray pump test requirements will be resubmitted for approval with the next 10-year interval update of the BVPS Unit No. 1 Inservice Test Program (Issue 4) under the 2001 Edition through 2003 Addenda of the ASME OM Code.
