SUMMARY

The Unit began the report period continuing to increase power from approximately 39% output beginning at 2100 hours0.0243 days
0.583 hours
0.00347 weeks
7.9905e-4 months
on 2/28/03 to approximately 58% output at 0250 hours0.00289 days
0.0694 hours
4.133598e-4 weeks
9.5125e-5 months
on 3/1/03. The Unit was operating at reduced output because only one Main Feedwater Pump operation was possible following loss of the "D" 4KV Bus (tripped on overcurrent during start of the second Main Feedwater Pump on-2/27fO3-during-Unit-startup following-a-reactor trip -on-2/24/03 when-the-"C"Main-Steahf-Isolation Valve failed closed). A reduction in output was begun at 1411 hours0.0163 days
0.392 hours
0.00233 weeks
5.368855e-4 months
on 311/03 due to elevated motor inboard bearing temperatures on the running "A7 Main Feedwater Pump. The reduction was halted at approximately 55% output at 1433 hours0.0166 days
0.398 hours
0.00237 weeks
5.452565e-4 months
on 3/1/03 when motor bearing temperatures were lowered and stabilized following placement of additional ventilation to cool the motors. The Unit remained operating at approximately 55% output while evaluation of the bus trip from 2/27/03 continued. At 0520 hours0.00602 days
0.144 hours
8.597884e-4 weeks
1.9786e-4 months
on 3/7/03, the Unit reduced output from approximately 55% to 48% in order to begin performing planned Main Steam Safety Valve testing prior to the beginning of the 15"i refueling outage. An output of approximately 48% was achieved at 0630 hours0.00729 days
0.175 hours
0.00104 weeks
2.39715e-4 months
on 3/7/03. The Unit was removed from service at 0000 hours0 days
0 hours
0 weeks
0 months
on 3/8/03. Mode 2 was entered at 0017 hours1.967593e-4 days
0.00472 hours
2.810847e-5 weeks
6.4685e-6 months
and Mode 3 was entered at 0020 hours2.314815e-4 days
0.00556 hours
3.306878e-5 weeks
7.61e-6 months
on 3/8/03. The Unit continued to cool down and depressurize, entering Mode 4 at 0338 hours0.00391 days
0.0939 hours
5.588624e-4 weeks
1.28609e-4 months
and Mode 5 at 1135 hours0.0131 days
0.315 hours
0.00188 weeks
4.318675e-4 months
on 3/8/03.
