Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 and No. 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. N-PF-73 Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures The FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) has reviewed the Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures for Beaver Valley Power Station Units 1 & 2, issued on February 25, 2002. This Order, which modifies the current operating license for both units, requires a response regarding the implementation of the requirements set forth in Attachment 2 to the Order.
The Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS) intends to comply with the requirements described in Attachment 2 to the Order. The current status of the BVPS implementation of each of these requirements is listed in an Enclosure to this response. In instances where compliance has not yet been achieved, a schedule for implementation has been provided, with the exception of Interim Compensatory Measure B.2.a which will be provided at a later date. For the implementation schedules provided in the Enclosure, complete implementation will be achieved no later than August 31, 2002 as required by the Order.
The information contained in the Enclosure to this letter is considered Safeguards Information under the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21, and is thereby exempt from public disclosure.
