Dear Sir:
This application for an amendment to the FitzPatrick Operating Ucense proposes changes to the Technical Specifications Table 3.7-1, " Process Pipe'ine Penetrating Primary Containment."
The changes clarify and update the table to accurately reflect the as-built condition of the plant and promote consistency with the NRC's Standard Technical Specifications. The notes associated with the table are also revised by this amendment application.
The revised Table 3.7-1 has been retitled " Primary Containment isolation Valves." Entries are now arranged by containment penetration. This arrangement better describes the valve (s) and penetration function and simplifies the table. Unnecessary columns have beet deleted while improved notes clarify the table.
The Authority previouly subml4d proposed changes to the Technical Specifications regarding the deletion of Table 3.7-1, " Containment Isolation Valves" (Reference 1). The enclosed changes are intended as an interim measure to facilitate the use of Table 3.7-1 until such time that Reference 1 is approved and the table removed from the specifications.
This application for an amendment is one of the Technical Specification corrections described in Reference 2.
