Dear Mr. Dean,
The James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant (JAF) requests approval from the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to have nineteen (19) individuals from JAF take the BWR generic fundamentals examination (GFE) section of the written operator licensing examination to be administered on September 4, 2013.
The individuals are listed in Enclosure 1. The listed personnel are enrolled in the JAF Licensed Operator Initial (LOI) training program and will have completed the generic fundamentals portion of the JAF training program by the examination date.
The following personnel will have access to the examinations before they are administered:
