On July 24, 2025, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at Idaho Cleanup Project and discussed the results of this inspection with you and other members of your staff. The results of this inspection are documented in the enclosed report.

SUMMARY
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) continued monitoring the licensees performance by conducting a Security inspection of the TMI2 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) at the Idaho Cleanup Project, in accordance with Inspection Procedure 81311, Physical Security Requirements for Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation.

No findings or violations of more than minor significance were identified.

INSPECTION SCOPES
Unless otherwise noted, independent spent fuel storage installation security inspections were conducted in accordance with the appropriate portions of the inspection procedures (IPs) in effect at the beginning of the inspection. Samples were declared complete when the IP requirements most appropriate to the inspection activity were met consistent with Inspection Manual Chapter 2690, Inspection Program for Dry Storage of Spent Reactor Fuel and Reactor Related Greater-Than-Class C Waste at Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installations and for 10 CFR Part 71 Transportation Packings. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel to assess licensee performance and compliance with Commission rules and regulations, license conditions, site procedures, and standards.
81311 - Physical Security Requirements for Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installations The inspection TMI2 ISFSI was conducted using Section 02.09 of IP 81311, Physical Security Requirements for Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installations, applicable to any licensee issued a specific license for an ISFSI under 10 CFR
