Inquiry on August 9,1985 This refers to a personal inquiry by Mr. C. T. Oberg of this office with Mrs. Kurtz on August 9, 1985.

This inquiry was in reference to activities authorized by License No.

29-14171-01, as they relate to the use and storage of exposure devices and integral sealed sources for the performance of industrial radiography.

From this discussion, we understand that you will be on vacation from August 10 through September 3,1985, and therefore will not be using licensed material nor will you be available for a routine inspection, during that period of time.

If our understandings are not correct, please inform us in writing.

We will review your licensed program during the next inspection subsequent to September 3, 1985.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room. No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions concerning this inquiry, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
