NRC INSPECTION REDORT 50-440/97013(DRS)
Dear Mr. Myers:
On August 28,1997, the NRC completed a followup inspection of your implementation of 10 CFR 50.65," Requirements for Monitoring the Effectiveness of Maintenance at Nuclear Power Plants" (the maintenance rule) at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified. We concluded that your corrective actions were acceptable and, with the exception of one calculation error, were properly implemented.
We will reexamine that calculation in a subsequent inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
