UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY - NRC ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-274/2009-201
Dear Dr. Dickinson:
On May 18-21, 2009, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission)
conducted an inspection at your U.S. Geological Survey TRIGA Reactor facility (Inspection Report No. 50-274/2009-201). The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on May 21, 2009, with Ms. Betty Adrian, Acting Associate Program Coordinator, National Data Preservation Program, Informatics, and Laboratories, Mr. Timothy DeBey, Manager, U. S. Geological Survey TRIGA Reactor, and other members of your staff.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.
No response to this letter is required.
