SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-267/93-02 Thank you for your letter of July 30, 1993 in response to our letter and the Notice of Deviation dated July 2,1993. We have reviewed your reply and found it responsive to the concerns raised. While the root cause of the event may have been a breakdown in communications, the procedural inadequacies existed as described in the Notice of Deviation, and most certainly contributed to the May 27, 1993 crane overload event.
