Dear Mr. Pollock:

On December3l,2010, the NRC stafi completed its annual inspection of the Emergency Preparedness Program at Indian Point Energy Center. This inspection began on January 1, 2010, lssuance of this letter closes lnspection Reports 050002471201 0501 and 05000286/2010501. Inspection activities charged to these reports include conducting mid-cycle/end of cycle assessment activities, responding to technical questions from resident inspectors or licensee personnel, and, in some cases, performing traditional enforcement activities. Any observations and findings in this area were provided to you via separate correspondence.

On December 31,2010, the NRC staf also completed its annual inspection of the Security Program at Indian Point EneEy Center. This inspection began on January 1,2010. lssuance of this lettercloses Inspection Reports 0500024712010401, and 0500028612010401. Inspection activities charged to these reports include conducting midcyclelend of cycle assessment activities, following up on Suspicious Incident Database (SlD) reports, responding to technical questions from resident inspectors or licensee personnel, and, in some cases, performing traditional enforcement activities. Any observations and findings in this area were provided to you via separate corespondence.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter, and your response, if any, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.qov/readinq-rmladams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
