UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS LOWELL - NRC ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-223/2014-201
Dear Dr. Chowdhury:
From April 7-10, 2014, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the Commission)
completed an inspection at the University of Massachusetts Lowell Research Reactor facility.
The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on April 10, 2014, with members of your staff.
During this inspection the NRC examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to public health and safety to confirm compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selected examination of procedures and representative records, observations of activities, and interviews with personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified. No response to this letter is required.
