NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY - NRC ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-184/2014-201
Dear Dr. Dimeo:
From April 7-10, 2014, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the Commission)
conducted an inspection at the National Institute of Standards and Technologys Center for Neutron Research facility. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on April 10, 2014, with you, the Deputy Director, the Chief of Reactor Operations, the Senior Health Physicist, and other members of your staff.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.
No response to this letter is required.
