f1RC Inspection This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. F. T. Fong of this office on September 14, 1979 of activities authorized by iIRC License No. 50-18034-01 and to the discussion of our findings helo by Mr. Fong with Mr. J. Felton of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Coranission's rules and regulations and the conditions of your license.
The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.
During this inspe:: tion, it was found that certain of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements.
The items and references to the pertinent requirements are listed in the enclosure to this letter.
These items have been categorized into levels as described in our correspondence to all NRC licensees dated December 31, 1974. A copy of that letter is enclosed for your information.
This notice is sent to you pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.201, of the flRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this office, within twenty (20) days of your receipt of this notice, a written state-ment or explanation in reply including (1) corrective steps which have 2117 007
