Mr. G. M. Rueger Senior Vice President and General Manager Nuclear Power Generation Business Unit SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-133/93-04 This letter refers to the inspection conducted by M. D. Schuster of this office on November 15-18,-1993. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Humboldt Bay Power Plant. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures, records, interviews with facility and contract personnel, and observations of activities in progress.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice, "Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your safeguards and security measures are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed inspection report will no.1 be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
