This refers to the routine physical security and Material Control and Accountability inspection conducted by Mr. G. L. Pirtle of this office on March 18-19, 1987, of activities at the Westinghouse Nuclear Training Reactor authorized by NRC License No. R-119 and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. K. Hamrick and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.
Sections 2.f, 2.g, 5 and 6 of the Report Details identify commitments to resolve previous inspection findings or concerns noted during this inspection.
Please advise in writing, within 30 days, if our understanding of your commitments is incorrect.
Areas examined during the inspection concern a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Consequently, our report of this inspection will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
