WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY - NRC ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT
NO. 50-027/2014-201
Dear Dr. Keane:
On July 22-24, 2014, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission)
completed an inspection at your Washington State University Training, Research, Isotope Production, General, Atomics research reactor located in the Nuclear Radiation Center (Inspection Report No. 50-027/2012-201). The enclosed report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on July 24, 2014, with Dr. Donald Wall, Director of the Nuclear Radiation Center, and other members of your staff.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified.
No response to this letter is required.
