Gentlemen:
Wis letter is in response to the referenced (nannotnced inspection corducted by Mr. Holley on March 7,1986. We response will first address the Notice of Violation and then the content of the narrativ Violation
"10CFR34.33 requires, in part, that reports received from the film badge or TLD processor shall be kept for inspection until the connission authorizes their disposal".
"Q)ntrary to this requirement, dosimetry records from the period December 15, 1985 to January 14, 1986, were not kept for inspection by the NRC".
Response OEST Company started Itysical operation of radiography activities in November of 1985. Film badge intervals ran fran the first of each month to the first of the next. We initial Tm dosage report issued by the Tm processor - Eberline Analytical, covered the period from 11/1 - 12/1/R5 and the following covered the period 12/1/85 - 1/24/R6. During this period of reporting a high exposure was noted with one individual of which required an mannotnced investigation by the RSO. During the course of the investigation the ' project" copy of the report was not filed in the

Wisa records fil As corrective and preventative action for the noted violation, Eberline was directed to subnit duplicate copies of the TLD reports - one to Wichita and one to the Tulsa projst office (with the film badges) . %is action has been canpleted and duplicate files now exist. W e concern was further discussed with OEST personnel in Elsa to reconfirm the importarx:e of maintainirg atditable records to denonstrate RSP Manual as well as regulatory compliance. A copy of the report in question is attached to this response.
