Dear Mr. Dodd:
This is in response to your letter dated September 26, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), on behalf of your client, Mr. Gerald Goynes, copies of records relating to operations conducted pursuant to an agreement between Department of Energy and Sandia Corporation and two other specified agreements regarding a " Western Gas Sands Multi-Well Experiment" conducted in Garfield County, Colorado.
My staff transmitted your request to appropriate offices in headquarters as well as the regional office which has responsibility for NRC-licensed facilities in the State of Colorado, and we were informed by those offices that NRC has no records subject to this request.
