Dear Sirs:
D Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request, on behalf of Commonwealth Edison Company, all documents which you have provided to or will provide to William J. Herrmann and David G. Gilbert of the Illinois
. Governor's Office of Consumer Services pursuant to their FOIA Request No.85-301. As far as I am aware, Mr. Herrmann and Mr. Gilbert have requested:
"All records NRC staff used, reviewed, relied on, or developed in drafting IE Bulletins 79-14 and 80-11, including instructions from the Commission to the staff and correspondende between the staff and industry sources."
Because it is apparent that the Governor's Office of Consumer Services intends to use any documents produced by the NRC pursuant to FOIA Request No.85-301 in a currently pending rate case involving Commonwealth Edison Company, it is important that we know as soon as the NRC makes such production. Otherwise Commonwealth Edison will be handi-capped unfairly in the current rate case. I know it is not the policy of the NRC to take sides in such controversies.
