Dear Mr. Liss:
This is in response to your letter dated April 17, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all NRC records relevant to and/or generated in connection with the NRC licensing or other proceedings of the Carolina Power & Light Nuclear Power Plant outside Raleigh, North Carolina, which mention or otherwise concern 11 specified individuals.
We have been informed by staff of the NRC's Region II office, the Office of Investigations and other appropriate offices that they are not aware of any records that might mention the 11 individuals. For your infomation, however, the NRC does not have the computer capability to search for all names or words that may appear in NRC's records. The NRC Public Document Room (PDR), located at 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555, maintains records on the Shearon-Harris plant for public inspection and copying. You may wish to visit the PDR to inspect the records that have been made publicly available. Also, in the event you learn of specific matters or records in which you are interested, you may submit another F0IA request at any time.
