In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) hereby submits a revision to the Physical Security Plan for the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant.
SNC believes the changes associated with the enclosed revision are administrative in nature or constitute enhancements to the Plant Hatch security program. SNC has determined these changes do not decrease the effectiveness of the Physical Security Plan. Justification for this determination is provided.
The enclosures to this letter contain the aforementioned determination, revision insertion instructions, and the revised Physical Security Plan pages. The information contained in the enclosures is categorized as Safeguards Information, and in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, this document should be withheld from public disclosure.
