In October, 1984, Georgia Power Company (GPC) submitted the Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) Program plan in response to NUREG-0737, Supplement 1.

Additional reports were submitted by letters dated December 23 1986 and December 30, 1987.

GPC also submitted a schedule revision by letter dated January 4,1989 which committed to completing the l

overall program for both units by the end of the 1992 Unit 2 refueling outage.

By letter dated October 24,

1989, the NRC staff provided their evaluation of the DCRDR program for Plant Hatch which concluded that the program satisfies the nine requirements-of Supplement 1 to NUREG-0737.

Subsequently, by letter dated February 6,.1992, GPC requested NRC staff j

concurrence to remove seven Unit 2 human engineering discrepancies (HEDs) from the DCRDR project. The NRC staff provided their concurrence by letter dated -November 18, 1992 and thereby superseded GPC's commitment to resolve HEDs Nos. 295, 296, 298, 301, 302, 303, and 472.

In accordance with GPC's commitment, implementation of the actions associated with the DCRDR project have been completed for both units at Plant Hatch.

This completes the actions associated with TMI Action Item MPA-F071, t
