Enclosed is the liumboldt Bay Power Plant Unit 3 " Annual Radioactive Emuent Release Report" covering the period January 1 through Decciaber 31,1997. This report is required by Section VII.11.3 of the Un't 3 Technical Specifications.
The enclosed report contains a comparison of maximum calculated dose to individual members of the public with the numerical guidelines of 10 CFR 50, Appendix I. A revision to 10 CFR 50.36a, which became effective August 28,1996, made these numerical guidelines applicable to shutdown as well as operating power reactors.
