WNP-2, OPERATING LICENSE NPF-21 OPERATOR TRAININGSIMULATORINITIALCERTIFICATION 10 CFR 55.45 The Washington Public Power Supply System, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 55.45, submits the initialcertification report for its new Nuclear Plant No. 2 (WNP-2) operator training simulator.
NRC Form 474 "Simulator Facility Certification" is enclosed to certify that the WNP-2 simulator has been evaluated in accordance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's requirements for a plant-referenced simulator.
This certification has been prepared in accordance with the subject Federal Regulation, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Regulatory Guide 1.149 and its reference ANSI/ANS-3.5 (1985) National Standard for Nuclear Power Plant Simulators for use in Operator Training. Our submittal includes the completed NRC Form 474 and supporting documentation.
