219.5 93427 CD VALVEX During performance of a surveillance procedure to calibrate Main Steam Radiation Indicating Switch, the reactor unexpectedly scrammed &om 100%

power due to a fullisolation of the MSIVs.

It was discovered that a MSIVpilot valve had been improperly rebuilt during the recent refueling outage.

It was correctly rebuilt and the plant vys eventually restarted.

See LER 93M7 for other corrective actions taken and training evolutions planned.

SUMMARY

WNP-2 had one automatic scram during the month ofAugust. Upon completion ofrequired equipment repairs, the plant was restarted and ramped up to fullpower operation by month's end.
