Bouchey (Supply System) to D.G. Eisenhut, dated January 19, 1983, same subject.
The reference letter requested NRC approval of a one year retention period for radiation exposure records used in preparing Form NRC-4 for employees whose original exposure records would be maintained by previous employers.
Recent followup of this item disclosed that we have no record of response as of this date.
As noted in the reference letter, the number of active exposure records for WNP-2 was anticipated to exceed 2000 and in fact has far exceeded that number.
As also anticipated, the administrative burden and record retention expenses are becoming excessive.
Your immediate attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.
