In accordance with the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e),
your staff was informed by telephone on September 21, 1979, of a reportable condition involving the spent fuel pool cooling system which is not designed to Seismic Category 1 standards.
Attached is our report of this deficiency.
Action to correct this condition is currently being evaluated.
A final report of action taken will be forwarded to your office before November 30, 1979.
