Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is submitted per the reporting requirements of Section 5.4.1 of the Columbia Generating Station Environmental Protection Plan (EPP), Appendix B to the Facility Operating License No. NPF-21.

The were no EPP noncompliances in 2017 and there were no changes in station design or operation, testing, or experiments that involved an unreviewed environmental question. A summary of the effluent data reported to the State of Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC) on the monthly discharge monitoring reports is attached.

There are no commitments being made to the NRC by this letter. Should you have any questions or desire additional information regarding this report, please contact WK Whitehead at (509) 377-8794.
