COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION, DOCKET NO. 72-35; 2015 ANNUAL EFFLUENT RELEASE REPORT
Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with 1 O CFR 72.44(d)(3), Energy Northwest hereby submits the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) annual effluent release report for calendar year 2015.
By design, the seal welded storage canister of the Holtec International Corporation's HI-STORM Cask System used at Columbia Generating Station does not have any radioactive material effluents. The seal welded storage system design provides assurance that there are no radioactive effluent release pathways from the storage casks.
This letter documents that there were no radioactive effluents discharged or released from the Columbia Generating Station ISFSI and, therefore, there is no ISFSl-specific data to report for calendar year 2015.
