Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with 10 CFR-72.44(d)(3), Energy Northwest he'reby Apbmlts the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) annual effluent report for calendar year 2013.
By design, the seal welded storage canister of the Holtec Corporation's HI-STORM Cask System used at Columbia Generating Station does not have any radioactive material effluents. The seal welded storage system design provides assurance that there-are no radioactive effluent release pathways from the storage casks.
This letter documents that there were no radioactive effluents discharged or released from the Columbia Generating Station ISFSI and therefore no ISFSI-specific data to report for calendar year 2013.
There are no commitments being made to the NRC by this letter.
