SUMMARY

Columbia Generating Station began the month at full reactor power.

On July 3rd and 4th power was reduced to about 70% for Rod Sequence Exchange.

On July 30 the reactor was automatically scrammed on high RPV pressure due to a DEH card failure and subsequent closure of main turbine governor valve 1. The station remained in the forced o'utage for the remainder of the month.
