Dear Sir or Madam:

Energy Northwest operates the Columbia Generating Station (Columbia) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1)(ii) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, Energy Northwest provides the following registration information associated with the HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask system placed into storage in the Columbia ISFSI on October 28, 2002.
