Subject:

COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION, OPERATING LICENSE NPF-21 2001 ANNUAL ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING REPORT

Reference:

Letter dated April 24, 2001, DW Coleman (Energy Northwest) to Document Control Desk (USNRC), "Notification of NPDES Permit Renewal" This letter is submitted per reporting requirements of Section 5.4.1 of the Columbia Generating Station Environmental Protection Plan (EPP; Appendix B to OL).

No design or operational changes or tests in 2001 involved an unreviewed environmental question.

As required by EPP Section 3.2, a copy of the permit was forwarded to the NRC with the referenced letter. A summary of the effluent data reported to the State of Washington on the monthly discharge monitoring reports is attached.
