| Event Description | The following information was provided by the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control via email:
A 68-year-old patient with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer treated with Xofigo Ra-223 dichloride was prescribed a dose of 171.6 microcuries and was treated on 02/03/2026. On 02/04/2026, the actual dose delivered was determined to be 118 microcuries. [The treating] physician has been informed. The patient will be notified on 02/05/2026 during a follow up appointment. Incident number: FL26-011 A Medical Event may indicate potential problems in a medical facility's use of radioactive materials. It does not necessarily result in harm to the patient. |
