| Event Description | GE Hitachi Security became aware of Potentially Disqualifying Information regarding a contract worker who was approved for access to two plant sites by the GEH Access Authorization Unit (AAU). As part of the initial review of this information, it was further discovered that the requisite employment verification performed by the AAU failed to properly verify employment for at least one year of the required scope.
Affected plant sites have been notified and the individual's access terminated pending further investigation. |
