| Event Description | The following was received from the State of Colorado via email:
At 0948 MDT on the morning of August 26, 2014, [the State of Colorado] was notified by the ARSO at Terracon, Inc (Colorado License # 664-02) that a Troxler 3430 moisture/density gauge had been run over by a skid-steer at a temporary job site. The source was locked in the shielded position when the gauge was hit. Surveys taken at the site confirmed that the source remained shielded. The gauge was placed in its transport case (Transport index confirmed) and taken to Instrotek for leak testing and analysis. Final results should be available within a week and initial results show no evidence of leakage. The investigation is still ongoing. |
