Manager Environmental Affairs Georgia Power Company Post Office Box 4545 Atlanta, Georgia 30302 Re Plant Vogtle NPDES Permit No. GA 0026786 Dear Mr. Woodalh On August 31,1989, NPDES Permit No. GA0026786 for Plant Vogtle was reissued.
This permit contained many. modifications from the draft permit. One modification was that a more stringent permit Emit for free available chlorine during periods of dechlorination was added. Because of this limit, the phrase in footnote number one that said "but prior to mixing with liquid radwaste system" was no longer relevant.
In typing the final permit, this phrase was mistakenly left in both on page 3 and page 7.
A minor modification correcting the typographical error has been made. We have also added the reference to footnote 3 mert to Time of TRC Discharge on page 3 for the purpose of completeness.
Please substitute the enclosed pages $nto the final permit.

Atlanta, Georgia 30302 Re: MPDES Parmit No. G& 0026786 Plant Vogtle Dear Mr. Woodall Pursuant to the Georgia Water Quality Control Act, as amended, the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, and the Rules and Regulations promulgated thereunder, we have issued the attached National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the specified wastewater treatment facility.
Please be advised that on and after the effective date indicated is the attached NPDES permit, the permittee must comply with all the terms, conditions and limitations of this permit.
