Dear Commissioners and Staff:
By letter dated February 11, 2003, "Issuance Of Order Establishing Interim Inspection Requirements For Reactor Pressure Vessel Heads At Pressurized Water Reactors," the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or Commission) issued an Order to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) that modifies the current operating licenses for Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units I and 2. The Order was immediately effective.
Pursuant to 10 CFR § 2.202, PG&E files this answer consenting to the NRC Order, and indicating its decision to not request a hearing.
