Consolidated Data Entry (CDE) is a INPO software for Nuclear Power plant data. A detailed description of all inputs may be found in the Data Elements Manual but CDE general serves 4 purposes: NRC PI, MOR, INPO PI, WANO PI.

People and Roles

In order to be a User that adds data to CDE you must first be a INPO user. The method to be a INPO user is to ask the site coordinator. Next you must ask your site CDE coordinator for specific permission to change data.

Input and Verification

CDE data derives from a variety of Data Owners in several departments.

CDE allows for all data to have a two different people input and verify it.

Approval and Lock

The software provides the ability to administrative approve and lock data. Use at site discression.

Submitting data

4 types of data sets: ROP, MOR, INPO, WANO. Each has a slightly separate submission process.

Data is due to the NRC by the 21st day of the quarter for the previous quarter per NEI 99-02. To INPO, and WANO by the 15th

NRC PIs

ROP = NRC data. It is submitted by emailing a text file. The text file is generated by CDE. It also generates a 'change' text file if previous quarters need to be updated as well.

Email to: Pidata.Resource@nrc.gov. The recommended format of the email message title line is “<Plant Name(s)>- <quarter/year>-PI Data Elements (QR and/or CR)” (e.g., “Salem Units and – 1Q2000 – PI Data Elements (QR)”).

WANO PIs

Submitted through CDE WANO data review section by "transfer to WANO". Then "Go to WANO".

MOR PIs

INPO will transfer it to the NRC for the site without any special user action.

INPO PIs

Submit by the virtue of inputting to CDE only.
