Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Haddam Neck Plant Independent Assessment of the Radiological Controls Program This letter forwards the independent assessment of the Radiological Controls Program at the Haddam Neck Plant. The assessment was performed by Millennium Services Inc., for the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO), in accordance with the NRC Confirmatory Action Letter dated March 4,1997 ).
0 CYAPCO's response to the Confirmatory Action Letter we s provided to the NRC in a letter dated May 30,1997(2). In the subject letter, CYAPCO concurred with the root causes and significant issues discussed in the independent assessment report and presented a schedule for corrective action to the NRC. The executive summary of the report was provided with the May 30,1997 letter.
