COMSECY-21-0014: Access Authorization Fees Approved X Disapproved Abstain Not Participating COMMENTS: Below X Attached None Based on the findings of the external audit discussed in this paper, I approve the staffs recommendation to proceed with a direct final rule to update the fees the NRC charges to process access authorization requests. I also support this direct final rule including two administrative changes to address new background investigation naming conventions and to clarify the electronic investigation questionnaire processing requirements. I approve delegating signature authority for this rulemaking to the Executive Director for Operations.
