Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2 Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-72 and NPF-77 NRC Docket Nos. STN 50-456, STN 50-457, and 72-73 Registration of Use of Casks to Store Spent Fuel 10 CFR 72.212 In accordance with 10 CFR 72.212, "Conditions of general license issued under §72.210,"
paragraph (b)(2), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) is registering, with the NRC, the use of two casks under the general license to store spent fuel at Braidwood Station. The initial use of these casks to store spent fuel occurred on September 21, 2023, September 27, 2023, and October 5, 2023. This registration is required to be submitted within 30 days, which would be Saturday, October 21, 2023. Per 10 CFR 72.4, if the submission deadline date falls on a Saturday, or Sunday, or a Federal holiday, the next Federal working day becomes the official due date.
Accordingly, this submittal is due by Monday, October 23, 2022.
