EA-09-259, February 25,2010, Final Significance Determination for a White Finding; Notification of Follow-Up Assessment; and Notice of Violation; NRC Inspection Report No. 05000456/2010008; Braidwood Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 On February 25, 2010, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a White finding to Exelon Generation Company (EGC) (Reference 1) and an associated violation for the failure of the B train containment sump suction valve (1 SI8811 B) to stroke full open during surveillance testing.
In Reference 1, the NRC also requested that EGC provide notification of readiness for a 95001 supplemental inspection. This letter provides notification that EGC is prepared for this inspection.
There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
