l Subject Additional Appendix R Compensatory Measure at Vermont Yankee In Reference (b) Vermont Yankee provided the NRC with information regarding Appendix R compensatory actions at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VYNPS). The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC of one additional compensaton measure. During the interim period until such time as the previously submitted exemption requests [ References (c) through (f)] are resolved, a roving fire watch has been established for the cast and west Switchgear rooms at VYNPS. Additionally, Vermont Yankee commits to providing responses to any additional questions the NRC may have regarding those exemption requests by December 15,1996.
