Resumption of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Power Ascension Program
Dear Sir:
This ' letter forwards a description of the process that will be i
followed to resume the Power Ascension Program.
The attached plan addresses the following questions:
1.
What corrective actions will be complete before restart?
(Section A) 2.
What is going to be done to assess the effectiveness of the short term actions and what are the longer term assessment actions after startup?
(Sections B & C) 3.
What review, evaluation and assessment will be performed to reassess readiness to proceed to 50% power?
(Sections C & D)
This plan utilizes the same methodology for resumption of the Power Accension Program as the existing program, namely a prerequisite list describing the actions required to be completed prior to reactor startup, the evolutions that will be completed prior to commencing the normal operations and observation period, and the evolutions to be completed prior to the assessment and recommendation to raise power to 50%,
