SUMMARY

~

AUGUST.1986-UNIT ONE Unit One started the month of August operating at 75.5% power.

The unit was-limited to this power due to a high level in the "A" steam generator.

At 2008 hours0.0232 days
0.558 hours
0.00332 weeks
7.64044e-4 months
on the sixteenth, power was reduced to 40% due to a spurious control rod drive (CRD) in-limit signal.

At 0155 hours0.00179 days
0.0431 hours
2.562831e-4 weeks
5.89775e-5 months
on the seventeenth power was increased, and at 0700 hours0.0081 days
0.194 hours
0.00116 weeks
2.6635e-4 months
the unit was back up to 75% power.

Again at 1913 hours0.0221 days
0.531 hours
0.00316 weeks
7.278965e-4 months
on the seventeenth, a spurious CRD in-limit signal caused a power reduction.

The power was held at 60% power until 1937 hours0.0224 days
0.538 hours
0.0032 weeks
7.370285e-4 months
on the seventeenth when a power escalation was initiated.

The unit was back to 75% power at 2045 hours0.0237 days
0.568 hours
0.00338 weeks
7.781225e-4 months
on the seventeenth.
