I Generic Letter %-01,." Testing of Safety-Related Logic Circuits," was issued on January 10, 1996 (OCNA019611). By letter dated April 19,1996 (0CAN049603), Entergy Opere.tions provided the schedule for Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) to conduct its reviews. Required
- response number 2 of the generic letter requested licensees to submit a written response within 30 days of completion of the requested actions, confinning completion. The purpose of this submitial is to document completion of the requested actions of the generic letter.
The reviews requested by Generic Letter 96-01 for ANO-1 were performed for the reactor protection system, emergency diesel generator load shedding ami sequencing, actuation logic for the engineered safeguards actuation system and emergency feedwater initiation and control system, and associated components These reviews were conducted on the 4,160 volt safety-related schemes plus a representative sample of the 480 volt schemes. These reviews also included the technical speci6 cation requirements for the systems described above and associated surveillance procedures. Identi6ed deficiencies resulted in actions to perform
